BEPS and international insurance programmes were mentioned as the main concerns by all panelists in a keynote debate on collaborative lobbying last week in Luxembourg. They agreed that collaboration on these topics is necessary but it should be lead on a case by case basis, based on ‘who has the biggest dog in the fight’, thus Dennis P. Harwick, CICA’s president. ECIROA’s president Udo Kappes, Airbus, agreed and underlined that collaboration was already taking place.

Lowet asked association representatives from Europe, the US and Switzerland about their current preoccupations, and how ECIROA, CICA and SIRCA are tackling these challenges.

The European Captive Forum was attended by more than 1000 people from the worldwide captive insurance industry.
