New Solvency II law book – soon available in iPhone format !
EU insurance undertakings will in the near future be subject to the new Solvency II framework. The current target date for full application is 1/1/2014.
The Solvency II legislation is composed of several layers: a framework directive, implementing legislation and guidelines and recommendations.
Given the multitude and complexity of current and future sources, Lieve Lowet, partner of ICODA European Affairs and Solvency II expert, has started a compilation of all Solvency II texts. This compilation will soon be available in English, French, Dutch and German, both in an easy to use, easy to carry and easy to research e-book version (pdf, iPad, iPhone or other formats) as well as in a light weight paper version.
This has been made possible thanks to a collaboration between Lieve Lowet and a Knopspublishing, which has a broad track record of successful tailor-made law e-books (see www.businesslawnet.com).
The first edition, with a preface by Commissioner Barnier, will contain as bonus also the EIOPA regulation. Europees recht: Solvabiliteit II
EU-verzekeringsondernemingen zullen in de nabije toekomst het nieuwe Solvency II-kader moeten toepassen. De huidige streefdatum voor de echte start is 1/1/2014.
De Solvency II wetgeving is samengesteld uit meerdere lagen: een kaderrichtlijn, uitvoeringsmaatregelen en richtsnoeren en aanbevelingen.
Gezien de veelheid en de complexiteit van de huidige en toekomstige bronnen, is Lieve Lowet, partner van ICODA European Affairs en Solvency II expert, begonnen met een compilatie van alle goedgekeurde Solvency II teksten. Deze compilatie zal binnenkort beschikbaar zijn in het Engels, Frans, Nederlands en Duits, zowel in een eenvoudig te gebruiken, makkelijk mee te nemen en eenvoudig te onderzoek e-book versie (pdf, iPad, iPhone of andere formaten), als in een lichtgewicht folio (print) versie.
Dit is mogelijk gemaakt dankzij een samenwerking tussen Lieve Lowet en Knopspublishing, gespecialiseerd in op maat gemaakte e-wetboeken.
