Esther
is one of the founding partners of ICODA.
Esther has more than 15 years’ consultancy experience in Brussels. Over the years she provided strategic advice to a broad range of organisations and companies in the European Union. Esther is specialised in EU project and programme planning, tender and co-financing procedures.
Esther grew up in the European context of Brussels, where she completed the European School and obtained the European Baccalaureat. She studied Cultural Anthropology at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands (Master degree) and followed post-doc courses on International Law and Law & Governance.
After her studies, Esther moved backed to Brussels, where she started her career as a development expert with the European Commission.
In 1991 she opened her own consultancy firm ICODA European Affairs. From 1991 till 2004, Esther carried out many assignments on programme planning and policy development for the European Commission, DG Development and the EuropeAid Co-operation Office.
In recent years Esther moved her focus towards European social affairs and equal opportunities.
